Registration

Register Now!

Early Bird Registration

On or before August 12, 2024
Member Registration               $450
Non-Member Registration       $650
Spouse/Guest Registration     $225

Late Registration

After August 12, 2024
Member Registration               $550
Non-Member Registration       $750

Registration Confirmation

We send registration confirmation via email, so please use a valid email address. Confirmations are sent to all registrants. If you use the same email address for all your registrations you will receive multiple confirmation emails, so please use a valid, unique email for each registrant if possible.

If you don't receive an email registration confirmation, it may be because some email spam filters may block confirmation emails from getting to you. There are few ways to confirm your registration details:

  • Check your spam or junk folders for the confirmation email.
  • Log into your profile. Hover over the My Profile tab. Click Invoices. You should see all your paid and unpaid invoices here. Click on the most recent invoice number to look at the invoice.
  • Log into your profile. Hover over the My Profile tab. Click Submissions. This will show you each registration you have submitted.
  • Contact our office to confirm your registration details.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

On or before August 12, 2024
Cancellations received in writing on or before August 12, 2024 will be refunded completely. 

After August 12, 2024
Cancellations received between August 12th and September 1st will be refunded at 50%. We are unable to refund registration fees after September 1, 2024.

ADA Accommodations

Please notify the WAMIC staff as soon as possible if you or a guest require any special accommodations due to a disability. If you require an accessible guest room, please notify the hotel when you make your reservation.

Charity Fundraiser

We will conclude our 2024 charity fundraiser at the Convention. Once again we will raise money for the Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth. There is a donate option on the Convention registration form.

Memorials

Each year we honor our members who have passed away. If a current or former manager, director, or employee of your company has passed away since the 2023 Convention, please submit their information through our online Memorial form or email the obituary link to [email protected]

Distinguished Service Awards

The Distinguished Service Award allows mutual members to request recognition for managers, directors, or staff who have given extraordinary service to that company and/or the industry. Members who submit an application should consider:

Longevity of Service
Leadership
Active involvement in the Association
Active advocacy on behalf of the mutual insurance industry

Submissions for this award come from individual companies. If you would like to honor someone with a Distinguished Service Award, please complete and submit the online application form prior to August 9th. We cannot guarantee that any submissions received after that date will be processed in time for the Convention.

Mutual Legacy Award

The WAMIC Mutual Legacy award is presented to an individual (or individuals) who exemplifies the highest ideals of mutual insurance. Individuals honored with this award will demonstrate most of the following attributes:

  • Professional in their conduct 
  • Committed to the mutual insurance industry 
  • Involved by helping others and volunteering
  • Many years of service in the mutual insurance industry 
  • Successful financial results 
  • Respected by their peers 
  • Displays honesty and possesses integrity 
  • Is progressive and visionary

Nominations for this award come from the membership. Nominations are considered by the Board of Directors at the August Board meeting in anticipation of the Annual Convention traditionally held in September. If you wish to nominate someone for the Mutual Legacy award, please complete and submit the nomination form prior to August 1. We cannot guarantee that any nominations received after that date will receive consideration.

Please note that the Board does consider whether a nominee has been honored in the past. Past recognition is not necessarily a barrier to being honored again, but preference is generally given to individuals who have not already been honored with this award. Please review the past honorees when considering your nomination.

Location

WAMIC has negotiated a convention room rate with the Holiday Inn and Holiday Express in Stevens Point. The cut-off date for reservations is August 9th, so book your rooms early.

Guests can book their reservations online 24 hours a day by using the following link: WAMIC.

If you make reservations over the phone, please call 715-344-0200 and press #1. When making reservations, please reference the group name WAMIC Delegate Convention and the Group Block Code: DEL.

The group rate will be available until August 9, 2024(or until the block is full). On this date, any remaining rooms in the block will be released for general reservations at the hotel's prevailing daily rate, which may be higher than our group rate. Please book your rooms by August 9, 2024.

Trade Show

WAMIC offers exhibitor booth registrations for both members and non-members. Vendors may also purchase a Convention registration, which includes all meals throughout convention, or one of our flexible meal options. Booth Registrations do not include a Convention registration or meals. Exhibit space is limited. Booth spaces are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
